They are playing against Sweden, we suck right now

  • @MikHo said: They are playing against Sweden, we suck right now.

    England sucks at football.

  • At least we skipped having to play the germans this time, that's always good.

  • mikhomikho Member, Host Rep

Tomorrow England will be EC champions in the tabloids, after next game they will probably not be worth the ink on the paper

Yea we got that in Portugals group.

    Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Portugal.

NL is sucking hard even though they're supposed to be a solid team.

Uh, there's kind of an ocean between Canada and Europe <_< You might be thinking of the commonwealth?

I was trolling a bit, technically during the horrid British Empire, Canada was part of Europe.

    I don't think so.

That's like saying that because the U.S. owns Guam, it's part of North America.

And BTW, the British Empire is still around and the sun never sets on it. Just wish it was back to its previous glory, because the world was a lot more orderly then :-)

Have you said it anywhere on LET before haha?

Figured the name would give it away :D

Hmm, but then Canada was part of the UK, and UK was part of Europe. Tough one I guess?

Only because a lot of people were slaughtered

Europe is a geographical region. Stop trolling,

  • Yeah sure i am! Netherlands, Portugal, Spain & Deutschland on my favourites list!

@Francisco: They indeed played bad this time. Both the games against Denmark and Germany were awfull. Lets see what they do with Portugal.
Portugal ain't strong this time, and looks like CR7 is missing alot of goals too !

Not for me. But I am not conflating national borders with geographical terms.

By this logic, at one point Australia was part of Europe.
