Catalyst Host - Storage LET Special + added stock
As a thanks to everyone on LET who has supported us in our entry into the VPS market, I want to offer an exclusive storage plan in Denver, CO. Availability is quite limited.
Storage VPS:
1 CPU Core
64mb RAM
64mb vSwap
100GB Storage
Unmetered 100Mbit
$5/m or $50/year

Additionally I'd like to announce that we have added stock to all of our plans in Denver, CO and Lenoir, NC. Our nodes use dual Xeon L5420 or L5520, hardware RAID10 with FBWC & BBU, and ECC memory. We are a registered business in West Virginia (good luck proving that with the only state that won't update it's databases). We have been a hosting provider since around March 2011. "We" refers to myself (Jarland Donnell) and Ryan Arp.
Denver, CO

Comments
are there any particular limitations for the storage vps's?
Absolutely none that are not also applied to the other products
Nice storage vps offer.
Good offer.
May I know how many vps is sharing the Unmetered 100Mbit?
I think this type of questions should be asked via support ticket and not public forum. No business would be happy to share their trade secret.
--Roel.
It's connected to a shared 1Gbps line and there are currently 33 VPS on the node, including the one reserved for ping/test file (which I need to put in my post).
If there's one thing I've learned about LEB/LET it's that they'll figure it out anyway
100mbps per vps on 1gbps node? Waiting for the test file.
I see. Just thought I would put my thoughts in .
--Roel.
Some are on a 1Gbps plan as well. There are some speed issues to some locations because FDC has a small/mediocre set of upstream providers. Test IP is up.
Those in need of better routing would be more pleased with Lenoir, NC.
Good speed downloading Denver test file from my location.

Ignore the latency, my ISP connection is not to well in my location right now.
Did you guys know that this guy @jarland is sniffing around your files all the time?
He admitted it. Don't ever buy anything from him or put any important files in the box.
Did you guys know that some providers run anti-virus software as well? And they don't exclude /vz? If you don't know how to run a hosting company or appreciate my non-invasive efforts to provide a proper experience for my clients by running a script that searches for "ddos.pl" and then returns to me "Suspend VPS ID ###" then perhaps you should leave the details to the experts.
If you have a problem with me, contact me like an adult. I don't play these games.
@Jarland
Haha
@jarland how about you expand to Xen or KVM
@TheHackBox I'm not opposed to it
Might have a spot for one powerful KVM on an under utilized node that houses 0 clients for someone I trust
Maybe you can hook me up :P
He admitted it. Don't ever buy anything from him or put any important files in the box.
How did you find out?
@JoeMerit I run a script that searches the node for "ddos.pl" and a few other painfully obvious file names, then returns to me a message stating a vps ID to suspend (but not which file was found). Shot in the dark, not the least bit intrusive for anyone but the dumbest of abusers, and has prevented the kind of abuse that would have hurt the performance of other clients.
Also I admitted it freely in another thread.
Ok, just curious. I am strongly considering your gig unmetered vps ;0
I do my best to keep it clean so legitimate people like you can actually rely on it, since it's so attractive to abusers. If you try it and don't like it, I'll gladly refund
@jarland, let say like this, if I make a file called ddos.pl and write a "Hello this is me" on it, would it still caught?
You would. But this isn't all automation. I know you, I'm going to email you and ask what's up
Every system administrator sells their brand of administration practices. Mine is very personal, considerate, understanding, friendly, honest, and hard on anyone who threatens my clients. That's me, that's what I'm selling. You can get a vps anywhere, you come to me because you want to be treated like an individual and you trust me to look out for you.
Very nice
@jarland, is that script free? I want to use it in my vps, for daily checking just in case someone hacked my vps.
