Awknet's DDoS protected IP is good

Have been meeting the DDoS attacks.
server1 is under Awknet protected, works just fine.
server2, server3, server4 are common providers, all null-routed.
Thanks awknet and BuyVM.

I don't think Awknet's TCP filtering is as good as what BuyVM has setup though.

If I have to judge from the level of filtering provided by DDHS, Santrex, etc (all of which are at Awknet), then the level of filtering from BuyVM is most likely quite a bit better than standard Awknet filtering.

EDIT: Yes, I know some 'DDoS-protected' servers from Santrex are at Staminus, but I have one at Awknet.

  • @Jack @joepie91 Oh thanks for letting me know that. Also thanks @Francisco has been doing a great filter job.

    You're most welcome.

Our filtering has come a long way from the original release. There's still lots to improve though :)

Let me know if there's anything else you're needing help with.

Nothing in either market right now, sorry :(

For now I want to work to perfect what we do with awknet already and then see if i can transplant it to other locations.

    Frickin' Jack.

Breaks his own 600,000 pps SYN flood with a 750,000 PPS syn flood.

    God dammit Jack.

  • What is he hosting to attract that size of attack :o

Judging by his nickname,i guess it is DNS hosting that attract bombs.

  • a botnet rental service

  • @exussum DNS hosting is very easy to get attacks. Almost every registrar's DNS had got DDoS attacks, that's nothing about what their businesses do.

  • @Jack Has your birthday come yet? I remember you saying at the start of the year, nine more months.

  • @Jack Ah, well happy birthday for last month!
