    From LEB only

    1 libVZ - VZ256 - cPanel DNS Only
    1 IPXCore - 256mb-LEBSpecial - cPanel DNS Only

2xChicagoVPS - Buffalo OpenVZ VPS - Enterprise Promo
    cPanel Accounts

    2xHostigation - OpenVZ VPS - LA - OVZ1024
    cPanel Accounts

    3xNodeDeploy - Unmanaged OpenVZ VPS - LET/LEB Special -
Shoutcast Server - Airtime UI - Desktop - External Backup

    1xbuyVM Buffalo - OpenVZ - NY BuyVM-256MB
    Storage

    1xNinjaHawk - VPS-OpenVz - OVZ-Chunin-Special -
Unused (Support complaint about usage with Virtualmin Server+Desktop) LOL

I tried a lot and stayed with the most reliable. Just that at the moment.

  • @acarrascope how about ChicagoVPS's services in all? (respond, uptime)?

1 hostigation - for main website
    1 ipxcore - for dns-only

  • @deregen said: @acarrascope how about ChicagoVPS's services in all? (respond, uptime)?

@deregen 3 months with ChicagoVPS 99.85% (premium) uptime but support is the worst in the world. May they think unmanaged is not ticket assistance but OpenVZ needs tech tweaks.

  • @acarrascope : too long to wait to do a little action? Hmm..

Aw come on, give Chris and Jeremiah a break!

It's them I think.... unless there's more people on ChicagoVPS! :o

  • @Shane_Elmore Sure, but even with the worst support i recommend it.

For production I use BuyVM, Ramnode, and Hostigation. That could be backups, favors for friends or returned favors for colleagues, or personal websites.

Oh yeah, I have a 256MB CVZ VPS with RamNode, not using them at the moment but I hope to use it for testing since they are in Atlanta which offers good connectivity to us in FL. :)

i've one 96mb openvz with ipxcore ;) i use it for vps/socks5 ...image

and it's so weird for me to see most lowendbox provider here have a lot of lowend vps with other LEB provider ...image

  • @soda said: and it's so weird for me to see most lowendbox provider here have a lot of lowend vps with other LEB provider

    Because LowEndBoxes are so versatile!

I mean, a LEB is hosting our website, and another LEB is hosting our backup webserver and handling some other stuff as well :)

@soda said: it's so weird for me to see most lowendbox provider here have a lot of lowend vps with other LEB provider

It would cost me a few hundred dollars a month to do the same thing with my own hardware that I do with 4 LEBs for less than $10/month.

  • From the providers active at this forum I have one at BuyVM, one at edis and one at prometeus - all used for external monitoring.

  • I use @Prometeus :)
    Love them :D

Actually, no, you dont want your site on your connection/hardware, when that is down you are somewhat unable to send notices and answer tickets, it aint fun...
Also, why pay pingdom or whatever when you can do better with your script.
Just pick a rock solid host (I see at least providers know where to look) and you get away with it cheaper and more versatile. Not to mention DNS and the like.
