maybe a hardware failure? shit happens, give it time?
you should not consider as a dead pool unless it has pass at least 48 hours? check their TW

  • dearroydearroy Member, Host Rep

@Randy As my server with them also got disconnected at the same time.i would rather take it as a network outage, however,as they colo with QuadraNet,i dont think it will be network outage.

This is why your company site should be on a different network than your nodes...

  • 2 hours down and it's being called deadpooled? Srsly?

  • This is why your company site should be on a different network than your nodes...> Or in case of emergency brake the tweet!

Deutsche Telekom (DTAG) went to deadpool!
I had no DSL Internet at home for the last 2 hours and their hotline is always busy!!11!1!1!11!!!! ;)

Seriously: Good luck to the OP. Hopefully, it is just an outage!

Now it's 7 hrs down and no response from their support email.
I am not going to conclude deadpool but refer to the past post about them, this seems to be true.

  • U wouldn't should Deadpool just yet. Look how long KiloServ was down.

  • @Jeffrey said: Look how long KiloServ was down.

Kiloserve's site was down for a while but (most) client's VPSs were not.

2 hrs is nothing. just wait. they might have just gotten some networking issues. not sure if they're hosting the site on the same network as their hosting stuffs.

  • yeah, i think you should wait at least 48 hours to start any accusations

I dont think that saying about someone that are in the deadpool is an accusation. After all, it may not be voluntary, it could be a fact of life, however, after what I read around, doesnt look rosy. I mean it didnt look like it will last from the start. It is too early to draw conclusions but, maybe the site and customers are down, however LET/WHT are not. They could have said something.

Well, I'd presume they use some of those ns for their shared plans

@NickM: isn't it just a bad idea (and pointless) to have the nameservers BE THE SAME IPs/MACHINES?

If this guy is trying to make himself look like a "big company" just by having multiple "nameservers", then he's sadly mistaken.

Looking at this it says they have been suspended by OVH and are moving providers. Sounds like they really do have huge problems. I would consider it dead and move on.

You and your puny 4 nameservers. Well I have five......thousand.

  • dearroydearroy Member, Host Rep

@liam said: I'm pretty sure they were reselling dedis too

Yep they are reselling servers from ServerSavior i guess.
but if you know about ServerSavior, you will find it shitty cause it is run by R.Burns, the owner of CheetahHost(Deadpool).

Can you tolerate the company say something on WHT instead of responsing to clients' emergency ticket?
