I canceled one of my buyvm vps some days ago,but now another vps under my accout had been also Suspended, i open a ticket #633262.

    it sounds like you didn't cancel it but instead neglected to pay the invoice.
    according to their TOS, all of your services will be suspended until you pay the invoice and cancel it in a proper way.

  • Anytime I want a vps from BuyVM, I pay for it.
    And when I don't need it, I cancel it. But Fran/Aldryc always refund me prorated. :)
    That's very nice of them.

    And it's only two provider I ever meet/try here, Prometeus and BuyVM.

  • @BenND no, but when the invoice was generated, my vps was not expired, so when i saw the invoice ,i cancel the vps. because the vps isn't expired i think i wouldn't pay for it.

    if no the invoice, i think that i will forget it.

    When you saw the invoice, you have to pay it, otherwise, you will get suspended.
    Except you contact them before cancelling, and asking to remove the invoice because you don't need the vps.

    and i have get a email for my ticket some seconds ago, that buyvm had open my vps, and close the one i canceled.

    If they send an invoice and you cancel the vps BEFORE due date, the invoice gets nulled.

    If its AFTER due date, then you need to pay the invoice + late fees otherwise all is suspended.

  • a single ticket before the VPS expires should've been taken care of. that is all whats needed. you could also go into pay-pal and remove the automated monthly payments with said provider. this way you don't get charged automatically .

    I know this, the reason I asked as if you cancel it after the invoice is generated, although the invoice is nulled it still displays as unpaid at $0

    I was in the same position, well, almost not that long ago.
    I had 2 vps with buyvm and canceled 1 after I recieved the invoice.

    Perhaps I was lucky that the invoice was removed (?) after I cancelled.

    From what Aldryic is saying WHMCS didn't save some setting changes he made early in the month and it wacked 5 - 10 people.

    It sounds like you're one of them so we'll get you fixed up quickly :)
