Looking to find out how small you have managed to get your server (Debian or Ubuntu) and Bind9 down to?
If you could share your ram usage and how many records you have on there would be great.
Ram Usage on Bind9 DNS (No Panel)
DNS 2 Records 36 Records
dns.au 43mb 49mb OpenVZ
dns.eu 33mb 40mb VServer
dns.uk 24mb 26mb XenPV
dns.us 20mb 22mb OpenVZ (Master)

0 • Disagree Agree ThanksI should add, these are running cpanel DNSONLY, so the RAM usage will be lower by at least 100MB.

0 • Disagree Agree ThanksI believe you get the lowest overall RAM usage while using BIND with Debian5 then probably Centos5.
