First one. The 5520 is a beast of a CPU. Never hurts to have more memory.
I'd go with the first one especially because of IPMI.
@jarland
What About The Providers ?.
I heard many bad reviews about chicago vps and chris.
Don't Know Much About Hivelocity.
@George_Fusioned
I believe chicago vps have either kvm or ipmi.
Let me confirm.
I've said many of the bad things. Don't believe everything you hear though. He's actually a pretty nice guy. He wouldn't let you know that here.
They've had nodes hacked and wiped, they've had their Solus master hacked and database published and Chris behaves like a total douche around here.
I know That :P
I'm Currently Hosted By Them !,
Now Im Moving to Dedicated Box.
So I Hope It Wont Hurt Me.
But They Have Very Good Uptime.

Was ready to pull the trigger on that one but found something even better ...
It costs $192.00 for the same config
The better was something else ...
What was it ?.
every case is different. something in the lines of ebay + col
You plan to run OVZ and Shared hosting on the same physical node?
I believe he means he's running it (shared hosting) inside an OpenVZ container.
From their website: "2.26Ghz Quad Core Intel Xeon (...) Equivalent to 18.08 GHz".
They don't seem to be up par with how their own servers work internally.
I've used Hivelocity for some personal projects before for 3 months, never had any issues and support is one of the best out there if you ever need it.
@George_Fusioned Is Correct.
Shared Hosting On A 8GB VPS
They Don't Have Much Reputation I Think.
@Patrick.
How Was Their Network ?.
Which Config You Got ?.
@goexodus
It pretty expensive to buy a server from ebay and send back to dc for me.
Coz I'm from India.
Which Config You Got ?.
This was few years ago, it was a Core2Quad Q9650 I think.
You'll struggle to find bad reviews about them because they are still good to date, there network is far superior then most...

@adarshv Does the server need to be in the US or are you open to other locations ?
Looks Promising
I believe US based hosts are Cheaper than others.
Hmm, in some cases yes, in some cases no
Do you have any box with them ?.
If yes,What It Used For ?.
Chicago VPS is collocated with colocrossing.
But You Know, They Sucks.
I dont want to be hosted by Kimsufi !,
16 GB RAM
2 x 300 GB SAS
500 GB Data Transfer
2 IP's
Cost $956 In India
A Benchmark Report Will Be Awesome !,
HiVelocity are "ok", but I got DDoSed and it took down their entire network, so I don't think it's very big. Also I paid for 100Mbps and got 10, they refused to acknowledge that it wasn't 100 so I was stuck with 10 and paying the upgrade cost.
