Thanks. So do you actually own this hardware or are you leasing a EX-4S? I'd feel more confident about using your services if I know you own the hardware.

We don't "own" the hardware. This helps us upgrade faster to better hardware when required, hence provide better services on better servers and lower prices.

@Hostdog get a raid controller and 4 drives, Our hetzner servers came with a BBU which isn't bad for 15 euros :)

bbu isn't included in the raid controller for 15€/month @ hetzner. You have to pay extra € for the bbu to be installed and every time you have to replace it. Also there is an extra 15€/month for the flexipack (unless you rent a EX8)

Any benchmarks? Any plans to go upgrade to a better RAID configuration?

No we have not run any benchmarks on it yet. We are thinking about the RAID, but that will increase the cost.
