  • These plans bench close to 4k on Unixbench, got a Chunin myself.

  • Jeez, your AUP is strict. No IRC, no game servers, no game downloads, regardless of copyright, no storing unrelated files... Maybe you should make a list of things you do allow, it might be shorter :p

It says you don't allow MC because of the CPU usage, would you make an exception if I can keep the load low? I run a little four person ultra-hardcore server and right now its on an old laptop that I would like to get out of my bedroom.

You can keep it at a minimum, but java is still java ;)

    Hello,
I am really sorry that you find our rules a bit strict. Well these are here for the better of the mass and to provide a stable platform for our average users and I believe that most of our clients would agree with that. Our servers are setup for the everyday users who use VPS for normal purpose.

Regarding game server, generally Game servers are a common target of internet violence/rage. Plus some game can be a bit I/O intensive and Java is not something that plays well with OVZ virtualization, thus we do not allow them at all most of the time.

I would strongly suggest you to get a SSD powered VPS from RamNode @Nick_a for better service (Minecraft).

It has been our policy from day 1 that, do not promise some one something that we can not provide. Hope you can understand :)

Try to get in touch with @Nick_A and I believe you won't be disappointed..

Nice offer btw. And on the subject of game servers, contact a host privately and describe your situation. You might be surprised. A low resource game for you and your buddy, for example, most hosts would gladly make an exception.

  • @Garrett @Nick_A 's SSD VPSes are perfect for Minecraft. They even have a MCMA template (I think)!
