I tried playing with observium but gave up when I was getting 'draw error' on graphs , so I was thinking other than observium and munin what else can you use to monitor CPU and Network usage?

All you have to do is properly configure your snmpd and observium will work fine

To add some clarity here, his snmpd.conf was limiting the information being made available.

Im more traditional and tend to stick to Cacti personally, its integrated with our new billing system, so looks like we will be using that for a while.

Cacti is harder to setup then centreon.

Nagios + Munin, best combo if it is setup good. It even checks if my ssl certificates are valid, and if they expire in 30 days, it alerts...

@Asim It's an issue with the node[slave] it's self.

You need to do this at slave level:

yum install net-snmp rm -rf /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf nano /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf

rocommunity pickaword syslocation LOCATIONOFBOX syscontact email@email.com disk /

It fixed it for me :)-

It would have had the same result in cacti as well, in @Jack 's case
