Thanks for the post. I'm awaiting a PM response from @mpkossen that I sent last night, as the deal linked here will rise in price by £1 per day each day until it reaches £10, however I'm wanting to lock the price in at £3/year for LowEndTalk members once we reach day 3.

Thanks for the comments @darknyan and @BluBoy. @Cassa activation should be received shortly, just going through orders at the moment.

    @liamwithers Thanks :D

  • I am thinking of picking one up just in case as I already have a few VPSs and stuff that I could use for a VPN and I already use Hola for Hulu/Netflix... at the same time, £1...

Say I use up my 150GB a few months in, @liamwithers. How much for more?

  • VPNshVPNsh Member, Host Rep

@AThomasHowe we're also running 500GB/year for £5.50 at the moment here.

    EDITED.

£5 pushes it a bit out of the impulse range for me with Hola and stuff. Still might get one in the next 10 hours, we'll see.

Fair enough! If you need something a little more than 150GB but not as large as 500GB, please do let me know and I can provide something for you at a lower cost than the 500GB package.

Hi Liam, pls check ticket #158927.
    Thank you.

  • Bought one in the end. Don't need it but why not. Just checking, I don't need to ticket in for it to be approved, right? Like I said, no need for it now so no rush to activate, just making sure.

Good to have anyway, by all accounts Liam provides a good service.

You'll just get a second username and password to use the fresh account with. Server configurations etc. are the same.

What's up with the TOS and DMCA policy?

NOTICE: IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS FOUND TO CONTAIN ILLEGAL ACTIVITY, ILLEGAL MP3 FILES, PIRATED SOFTWARE, HACKER PROGRAMS, WAREZ PROGRAMS, OR ANY OTHER ILLEGAL FILES, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY

How can a VPN account contain files?

VPN.SH does not allow adult content and will suspend/terminate any offending account.

I can't access Pornhub from your service?

VPN.SH is not for file hosting and distribution - as such, customers may not upload any files larger than 150MB in size that are observed to be available for the sole purpose of download. Such files include but are not limited to .ISO, audio/video files, .EXE files. If you are unsure whether your file is against this policy, please e-mail [email protected].

Can't I upload a 200MB video file to YouTube either?

when VPN.SH becomes aware of harmful activities, it may take any action to stop the harmful activity, including, but not limited to, [...] shutting down a web site [...]

    Sorry, what?

@Nyr - TOS and DMCA policy are under review. Take them with a pinch of salt for the timebeing.

Looks like it was copy pasted from a webhost, and that kids is why you don't blindly copy legal documents.. I'm sure it was a genuine mistake but it does look a little unprofessional unless I'm missing something here.

It was left in the hands of an ex member of staff who is no longer involved in any way. It goes to show that you shouldn't place your entire trust in somebody else before checking through things yourself. It's in the process of being altered.
