Changing from 1.10.00 beta R4 to 1.10.00 last night, solus tripped all over itself and went splat. Why on earth are there changes not in R4? That is not how a beta should be run at all
Hostigation High Resource Hosting - SolusVM OpenVZ/KVM VPS
I think in the end lighttpd on one of the nodes flaked and solus isn't smart enough to timeout if a node takes too long to respond if it at least connects, so the load was like 50 on the master with like 50 cron's running to check the same node. I restarted lighttpd on that node and on the master and everything cleared itself out in a few seconds.

0 • Disagree Agree ThanksEnabling PPP on a VPS requires a reboot to my knowledge. At least when I was doing it manually it did (don't see how SolusVM can get around this).
That being said, we've been running 1.10 for a few weeks now and it's been great (<3 PowerDNS).

I don't think there is a way clients can know if the system has been updated.

So you can just check if your host has the new login page for Admin area, and if its the new one then its updated.
