iRedMail help

Hello, I'm looking for a bit of help regarding an iRedMail issue I have.

I created a droplet (debian 7) and installed iRedMail, my DNS is been handled by he.net the SPF record has been created and the IP from the Droplet its not listed in spam list's

Every mail that I have sent to yahoo, hotmail or gmail (including google apps for your own domain) gets marked as spam.

Can any body provide some hints on what could be wrong, at the moment I setup a subdomain for testing iRedMail, but my plan is to move a couple of email domains to this droplet (512mb in case your wondering).

Have you sent a high volume? A lot of times volume alone from an IP without a reputation behind it can be enough.

does rdns record pointing back to your domain ?

  • Yes rDNS has been setup at Digital Ocean and in total about 50 emails have been sent as test in different times and to different addresses.

it can be bad reputation IP, what kind of emails are you sending ?

  • Does the domain in the From address header match the domain of the relay server? I've found that Yahoo and Gmail flag emails from my server if that is not the case. As others have suggested, you could also unfortunately have a flagged IP. Have you checked for your IP on any blacklists?

Use this and paste here the results:

Anyway, I don't think you are going to get great deliverability from Digital Ocean.

  • Have you enabled DKIM?

    [ ] rDNS

    Check all that apply.

DKIM its enabled on the server.

    ^^

You need to setup properly your DKIM keys, OR you can disable it. Not so important yet...

    How to enable/disable DKIM:

  • fix DKIM do not disable it! xD
