Did this break the ticket system for anyone else?

  • Awmusic12635Awmusic12635 Member, Host Rep

@Nick_A In what way? I haven't noticed anything yet

  • Nick_ANick_A Member, Top Host, Host Rep

Others on WHT have seen it as well. "Awaiting Reply" only shows answered and closed tickets. I have to manually select "customer reply" to see waiting tickets, or "open" etc.

Which version does it say you guys have?

  • Awmusic12635Awmusic12635 Member, Host Rep

    @Nick_A 5.1.8

  • Nick_ANick_A Member, Top Host, Host Rep

Yeah, they snuck in 5.3 with the latest 5.2.6 patch:

  • No issues that I have noticed... We are running v5.2.6.

  • Just sent a test ticket to our system and everything worked fine..

I've also updated our WHMCS a couple of minutes ago to the latest version. Says 5.2.6 over here. There was even a fancy pop up, saying I am up to date.

    5.2.6.4 Build Update

Following the publication of a security advisory today [ http://blog.whmcs.com/?t=76310 ] we have identified two deficiencies in our build automation for the 5.2.6 build 3 package. v5.2.6 build 4 addresses the below issues: Ship decoded ./crons/config.php Remove langupdate.php throughout. The updated build contains no code or functionality changes. Note: If you have either /lang/langupdate.php or /admin/lang/adminlangupdate.php present in your installation we recommend removing them....

    In what way?

  • Maybe they broke it in build 4... We still have the 5.2.6 build 3 and everything is working fine...

  • Nick_ANick_A Member, Top Host, Host Rep

They go to a blank page, don't generate an invoice, etc. I just got the build 3 from @SkylarM, so we'll see.

  • My orders appear broken in Build 3 as well, it isn't a blank page, it just sort of does a weird checkout page with everything from the previous page.

Just upgraded, went totally fine. WHMCS Admin area all feels much more faster and responsive.

  • I just tested mine and it worked fine.. Went right to the payment page like its supposed to and sent the invoice email to my test email account.

If you downloaded build 4 which was just posted not too long ago then you get the problem but if you have build 3 which had other problems then it will report the proper version. At least that is what the consensus seems to be.

I don't have any issues with new orders as far as I can tell and I used build 4...I think.

What a messed up update. Sheesh! Guess the regular guy is on vacation or something.

    5.2.6 working fine over here

  • Nick_ANick_A Member, Top Host, Host Rep

I didn't bother reverting because @SkylarM also reported order issues. WHMCS support basically told me "Try again" and now my WHMCS won't load period.

    This is fun.
